13 going on 30!!!

13 going on 30,this was the movie i saw recently in Star movies. It is about a girl who magically transforms into a 30 yr old woman from a 13 yr girl. Although the movie is a bit unimaginable, it made me wonder what would it be like if we transformed into whatever age we want to. If we go back to the start all over again we can correct all our mistakes we have done.

Mistakes are the one which teaches everybody but what if we had another chance???

To behave in a very sensible, mature and grown up kind of attitude. That movie was totally about that. The girl who becomes a woman now regrets all the wrong things she committed in her life back then and wants to change it now. This made me think what was the most regrettable thing have i done in my life till now??? There are lot of things which i would love to change if i had a chance, even though i believe whatever happens will happen only for good. It gave me a sense of responsibility and made me think, if i want to change some things which i regret now in my Life, why cannot i live accordingly from this moment and not regret anything later??? Although i have been having this sense for a long time now ;) i was not equally responsible in following it. But i really got this feeling after watching a movie just by chance.

This is what people say Moment of Consiciousness about Self strikes anytime in your Life!

Gifts !!

Nobody is bored of getting gifts. Especially, Akshay!! Nowadays it has become a big obsession for him to get gifts from his dad.Everyweek one is his quota :) Thanks to the hectic travel shri has.
Whenever shri is out of bangalore, Akshay would ask me. Ma, what will daddy get??? Just to irritate him i would say no gift. You should be with him to see his reaction.
I would say it has become a big to-do thing in shris` list when he is in Mumbai or Delhi. He would even forget to get gift for me but never for Akshay. We have even reached a point where i have started telling him to stop buying him big toys or CDs. I don`t understand why men especially all dads are same. Shri does`nt say NO to Akshays` demands. He will try to fulfill all his wishes without giving a negative answer. Me on the other hand, will try to explain why i don`t want to buy it for him. We have had our share of fights over this matter. His CD collection has become even more than mine. Even today he has gone to sleep after much debate about his gift from dad. Hope he gets over this stage and asks his dad to get gifts for his mom ( Imagination is a GIFT from GOD).
Ah, here comes shri back from Mumbai and Delhi after a two day trip. Should check what has he got for AK this time.

What to name it????

AlreadyItalic one post old, but still thinking what to name my blog!!!!

It seems like wedding time of the year. Lots of invitations -- of friends,
friends` sister... But would`nt be able to attend even one :( Reason so obvious, Akshay`s school. They have weird rules in his school, even though he is just in NURSERY. I really feel guilty that every other time the reason i give to my friends is the same. They think that time and again i lie to them making some silly reason. But all i say is wait till your child starts going to school. Each school has it`s own weird rules about taking leave. I remember when i was studying, we just take so many days off and just give a letter which just says we were not well, even though it would be so obvious that we took off for some other reason. I really miss my schooling days and most of all my college days. I remind myself that i have become old and that is why i keep thinking about my school and college. If i say this to Shri he would say you are right about your age 100% ;)

I have started feeling when will Akshay finish his schooling...

For a long time now, i have been thinking of writing about Akshay. Our sweet little son and our world.

The day he came into our life, everything just changed. Right from my day to day activity to all our preferences. I really have learnt a lot from him. Patience is a virtue, but, i was totally short tempered. I have learnt to be patient with him.

Bringing up a kid is no child`s play. It`s absolutely very very hard.

Be it his constant inquisitiveness about everything in Life or his innumerable questions which he asks everyday, it`s the hardest thing to answer.

He would ask MA, is food God???

Me: yes

A: Then are we eating God??

Me: clueless!!!! (About how to give him a convincing answer)

Like this, several questions which are innocent and so very tough to answer to convince him.

To put him to sleep is the most toughest part of my job. Stories about animals fascinate him so much. He would start asking me to tell stories. I tell him several stories about animals. Each day different story is his motive. I would in near future start writing stories for children at this rate.

Everyday is a different experience with Akshay. Life has become so beautiful with him. It`s so wonderful to think how fast he has grown from a little baby to toddler to Big boy (as he says now).

Hope, he will one day become a man who is independent, strong willed and honest in whatever he does.
